Martin has been working as a percussionist for over 25 years. He has learned a large variety of traditional rhythms in Africa and Cuba. He uses those rhythms and admits them in a subtle way into different styles of music.

Except as a performing percussionist, Martin also works as a drum teacher and workshop leader. With great enthusiasm and didactic capabilities, he makes sure that all students of all levels make the most of what they have in store.

Martin has produced a series of lesson cd’s where you can listen to rhythms from Cuba, Brazil and west-Africa.

Martin has cooperated on many cd’s and on various television shows in Holland.
